It is important that day-old chicks be transported safely and securely through the United States Postal Service (USPS). Our well-designed carton withstands the sometimes-difficult shipping process, which we proudly offer in custom varieties and capacities based on your needs. Our main sizes include:
100-Count Box
Our largest shipping box for day-old chickens/gamebirds, the approximate size is 24 x 18 x 6″ with 5/8″ ventilation holes. This has a set of partitions to make the box into four 9 x 12″ quadrants. The minimum order on this size box is 250 lot.
50-Count Box
The approximate size is 18 x 12 x 6″ with 5/8″ ventilation holes. This has one partition to make the box into two 9 x 12″ quadrants. The minimum order on this size box is 500 lot.
25-Count Box
The approximate size is 12 x 9 x 6″ with 5/8″ ventilation holes. This has no partitions, featuring one quadrant for the birds. The minimum order on this size box is 500 lot.
Adult Pheasant Transport Box
Designed to ship adult gamebirds (pheasants, quail, chukars, partridges, etc.) safely, the approximate size is 17 x 8 x 26” with 1” ventilation holes. This has no partitions to feature one quadrant for the birds. The minimum order on this size box is 100 lot.
Quail Boxes
- Smaller ½ inch holes in box, partitions and tray style cover.
- Size 24 x 18 x 6. Holds 260-day-old chicks, 65 per 9 x 12 quadrant.
- Also used for shipping Chukar and Hungarian Partridges.
- Design allows for superior stacking strength, airflow and containment of chicks.
- Ideal for truck, USPS and air freight shipping.
- When stacking, 8 points of contact between layers allow for proper ventilation, which leads to a high survivability rate.
- Boxes weigh 2 pounds each.

Winter Boxes
- Smaller ½” holes in box, and cover. Partition has 5/8” holes.
- Size 24 x 18 x 6. Partition creates four 9 x 12” quadrants.
- Body design allows for superior stacking strength. 56 hole perforations with 16 completely punched out. Allows you to adjust amount of airflow by punching some or all of the 40 other holes.
- Cover design has 32 hole perforations with 16 completely punched out, allows you to adjust ventilation, depending on temperature with the remaining 16 holes.
- Ideal for truck, USPS and air freight shipping.
- When stacking, 8 points of contact between layers allow for proper ventilation, which leads to a high survivability rate.
- Minimum order of 250 complete box sets. F.O.B Milwaukee.
